LIONHEART – Remembering Dan Wheldon

Two-time Indy 500 winner and IndyCar Champion Dan Wheldon was a big fan favorite. He was also admired, loved and respected by his rivals, friends, colleagues, and above all, family.

A beautifully-presented new book, Lionheart – Remembering Dan Wheldon, is now available worldwide. It is 216 pages of memories from junior karting rivals such as Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button, through to life-long friend and three-time Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti. The book has already received critical acclaim following its launch at the 100th Indy 500.

There are tales of success, pranks, fun and dedication, including previously untold stories from the likes of Michael Andretti, Dale Earnhardt Jr, Danica Patrick and many more who were involved in DW’s winning career.

Proceeds go to the Dan Wheldon Foundation and Alzheimer’s Research.

The book is now available worldwide on amazon.com at USD$30.00, or amazon.co.uk for British fans at £23.50. It’s also available from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway store.

What’s been said about Lionheart…

“What a keepsake of great memories.”

Dave Furst, RTV6, The Indy Channel

“Flipping through the glossy, magazine-style layout rich with artfully arranged photos, the reader is left with the impression that the book freezes a life in time and allows it to remain treasured in perpetuity — a priceless gift to Wheldon’s two young sons in particular.”
